Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 2 slice(s) farmer’s bread, crusty bread, or similar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 salt and pepper
- 2 leaves of iceberg lettuce, as desired
- 2 slice(s) cheese (butter), as desired
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes
quick, tasty and easy
Cut a tablespoon-sized hole out of each slice of bread. Add oil to the pan and heat to high. When the pan and oil are hot, add the slices of bread. Crack an egg into each hole, like a fried egg. Only this time, make sure the egg is cooked through. That’s why I break the yolk. Season with salt and pepper. After a while, turn the slices over. Always be careful that one side doesn’t get too brown. I also like to top the bread with buttered cheese and salad. It tastes really good, too.
