- Flour
- breadcrumbs
- Salt
- Oil (sunflower oil)
- Lemon(s) – slices
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Viennese fried chicken
Wash the chicken drumsticks, pat dry, and season with salt. Dip the drumsticks in flour, then coat in the beaten egg, then coat in the breadcrumbs. Either fry in a deep fryer or fry slowly in a pan. Turn over infrequently to avoid damaging the breading. Serve with fries or potato salad and lemon wedges.
