Potato and meat loaves

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g potatoes, boiled
  • 500 g minced meat (minced meat, hash)
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp herbs de Provence
  • 1 bunch parsley, chopped
  • 2 eggs
  • Breadcrumbs, for coating
  • Butter, for frying and roasting
  • 2 tsp marjoram
  • Caraway seeds

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Brown the minced meat in hot butter, grate the cooked potatoes and mix them with the meat. Season with salt, pepper, herbs, parsley, garlic, caraway, and marjoram. Shape the meat into patties, dip them in beaten egg, and roll them in breadcrumbs. Fry in butter. Serve with either a warm coleslaw or a mixed salad, depending on your preference.
