Breaded Maultaschen

The perfect breaded maultaschen recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 4 Swabian Maultaschen from BÜRGER
  • 150 gr Breadcrumbs
  • 3 Eggs
  • 150 gr Flour
  • Oil
  1. First cut the dumplings into slices. Place the breadcrumbs, flour & eggs in each a deep plate, whisk the eggs. Heat the pan and when it is warm add about 3 tablespoons of oil. Now gradually wilt all the Maultaschen first in the flour on both sides, then in the eggs, and last in the breadcrumbs. Now fry in the oil and when the Maultaschen are done dab off the fat (Bon appetit! I would appreciate your feedback. PS: In the picture you can still see spaetzle, because I have not made any breaded Maultaschen with ONLY, hope you can still recognize a few Maultäschle :))
