Breaded pollock fillet

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 pollock fillets
  • ½ lime(s), the juice, alternatively lemon
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 50 g wholemeal flour
  • 150 g breadcrumbs or wholemeal breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • n. B. Oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Season the pollock fillets with salt and pepper and drizzle with lime or lemon juice. Coat the fish fillets in the whole-wheat flour, then in the beaten eggs. Finally, coat in the whole-wheat breadcrumbs previously mixed with the paprika. Fry in a pan with oil until cooked through and crispy on the outside. This takes about 10 minutes, depending on the heat.
