Breakfast: Quinoa Yogurt

The perfect breakfast: quinoa yogurt recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 50 g White quinoa
  • 150 g Natural yoghurt
  • 1 Msp Vanilla powder or cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp Plum and banana jam
  • 1 tbsp Cocoa nibs
  1. Wash the quinoa thoroughly and then simmer in a saucepan with 150 ml of boiling water for about 12 minutes until the water is soaked up. Stir every now and then and then let it cool down. Stir in cinnamon or vanilla.
  2. Mix with the yogurt and pour into a glass. Cover with the plum and banana puree and sprinkle with cocoa nibs.
  3. Instead of plum and banana puree, you can also use chia jam or any other pureed fruit. Pureed pears are also very tasty in autumn. I always prepare twice the amount, then it’s enough for 2 days.
  4. If you’d like it sweeter, you can stir a teaspoon of honey into the yogurt-quinoa mixture. Instead of water, the quinoa can also be boiled in milk.
