Börek Cigars Casserole

The perfect börek cigars casserole recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 pack Yufka pasta sheets triangular
  • 350 gr Sheep cheese
  • 2 tbsp Black cumin
  • 4 tbsp Sesame
  • 400 ml Whipped cream
  • 300 gr Sour cream
  • 100 ml Rapeseed oil
  • 1 glass Drained salsify preserve
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  1. Crumble the sheep’s cheese and fold in a tablespoon of black cumin. Fill the yufka leaves with it and roll them up. Place in a large, flat baking dish
  2. Mix the sour cream, whipped cream and oil together. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  3. Drain the black roots and spread over the rolled yufka leaves. Spread the sour cream evenly over the top.
  4. Mix the sesame seeds and the rest of the black cumin and sprinkle over the casserole.
  5. Bake at 200 degrees until it has turned a golden brown color.
  6. Tried what, mucked out the pantry and conjured up something delicious :))
