Bresaola rolls

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 20 slices of ham (Bresaola or alternatively Bündner Fleisch)
  • cream cheese
  • Mustard, fig or honey mustard
  • olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

goes well with rocket salad as a starter

Spread half of the bresaola slices with cream cheese and roll them into a “cigarette” shape. The world’s smallest roulade. Add a few dashes of sweet mustard. No, not Bavarian white sausage mustard, but fig mustard, honey mustard, etc. I mix this with a few dashes of olive oil until smooth to give it a softer consistency. You can also use mayonnaise. The sky’s the limit. The main thing is to add a sweet and spicy note. Just try it. The rolls are a wonderful addition to a starter salad (e.g., arugula or lamb’s lettuce). Simple, but they look great on a salad plate.
