Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 pork steak(s), from the back
- 2 tbsp oil
- Salt
- pepper
- 150 g bacon, diced
- 2 large onions
- 200 ml beer (dark beer)
- 1 tsp broth, granulated
- 1 tsp sugar
- 125 ml water

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Brown the pork loin steaks in a pan in hot oil for about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper and wrap in aluminum foil to rest. Fry the bacon until crispy, remove from the pan, and keep warm. Slice the onions and fry them with the sugar until golden brown. Remove half of the onions from the pan and add them to the bacon. Pour the water into the pan, add the clear stock, and bring to a boil briefly. Then add the dark beer and bring to a boil briefly. Season the sauce to taste. Return the steaks to the pan along with the bacon and onions and simmer with the lid on for about 5 minutes over low heat.
