Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g soft wheat (Ebly)
  • 400 g broccoli
  • ½ bunch of spring onions
  • 400 g minced beef
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 500 ml skimmed milk
  • 125 ml vegetable stock
  • 200 g cheese, grated
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • nutmeg
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

with Ebly

Prepare the Ebly according to the package instructions. Cut the broccoli into florets and blanch briefly in boiling salted water. Slice the spring onions into rings. Season the minced meat with salt, pepper, and paprika and form into small balls. Brown the balls all over in a little oil. Heat the butter, sauté the flour in it, stir in the milk and stock, stirring constantly with a whisk, and bring to a boil. Season the sauce with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Layer the Ebly, meatballs, broccoli, and spring onions in a gratin dish, pour the sauce evenly over them, and sprinkle everything with cheese. Bake the casserole in a preheated oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 30 minutes. Serve with a green salad or tomato salad.
