Broccoli noodle casserole

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g broccoli
  • 500 g pasta
  • 300 ml cream
  • 1 cube of instant bouillon
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg
  • 1 pack of cheese (grated cheese for pizza or gratin)

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

quick, easy, delicious

Boil the broccoli florets in water for about 5 minutes. Remove from the water and cook the pasta in the same water for about 5 minutes. Then remove the pasta and dissolve the bouillon cube in the same water. Place the pasta and broccoli in a casserole dish. Fill half of the casserole dish with bouillon and the other half with cream, until the pasta and broccoli mixture is almost covered. Stir in half of the grated cheese and season with pepper, nutmeg, and a little salt. Place the whole thing in the oven at 220°C (fan oven) for about 20 minutes. Stir the pasta occasionally, otherwise it will become dry on top. After 20 minutes, sprinkle the remaining cheese on top and switch to top/bottom heat until the casserole is browned.
