Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 400 g pasta (spiral pasta)
- 750 g broccoli, frozen
- 4 eggs, fresh size L
- 200 ml cream, fresh
- 150 g raw smoked ham (lean and finely diced)
- 1 clove(s) garlic, (finely chopped)
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
- 150 g cheese, spicy, grated (e.g. Gruyere, Comte, Emmental)
- some nutmeg, freshly grated
- some pepper, freshly ground, black

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
the spicy version
Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Peel and finely chop the garlic, dice the ham, and whisk the eggs with the cream, spices, and garlic. Drain the pasta and place it in a large stoneware casserole dish. Fold in the diced ham and scatter the frozen broccoli on top (breaking up any florets that are too large). Pour the cream and egg mixture over the pasta and bake for 20 minutes in a preheated oven (200°C). Remove from the oven and sprinkle with the cheese. Bake for another 10-15 minutes (depending on the desired browning of the cheese).
