Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 ciabatta or baguette
- 4 large tomatoes
- 1 garlic clove(s)
- 1 spring onion(s)
- 100 g lean ham, diced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- salt and pepper
- 5 olives, stuffed with peppers, possibly up to 8 pieces

Cut the bread (preheat if necessary) into 15-20 cm long pieces and halve each. Quarter the tomatoes, remove the seeds, and finely dice. Crush the garlic and add to the tomatoes. Finely slice the spring onion and add to the tomatoes. Add the diced ham and olive oil and mix well. Season with salt and pepper and let stand for a maximum of 30 minutes. Arrange the tomato mixture on the bread and serve.
