Bruschetta with almond butter cream cheese and berries

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 slices of ciabatta
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 4 tbsp cream cheese
  • 1 ½ tbsp almond butter
  • 1 tbsp orange juice
  • some agave syrup or honey, amount to taste
  • 1 dashes vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ tbsp almond flakes, roasted
  • 1 handful of berries

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 4 minutes; Total time approx. 14 minutes

Heat the butter in a pan and toast the bread slices over medium heat. Let cool. Whisk the almond butter and cream cheese with the orange juice until smooth, add the vanilla extract, and season with agave syrup. Spread the cream cheese and almond butter mixture on the ciabatta slices, sprinkle with flaked almonds, and arrange the berries on top.
