Bruschetta with feta, ham, apple and walnut

Spread the love

Ingredients for 10 servings:

  • 10 slices of baguette
  • 150 g feta cheese, approx.
  • 1 handful of parsley, flat
  • 5 slice(s) ham, thinly sliced, approx.
  • 1 apple
  • 10 walnut halves
  • 1 clove(s) garlic, optional

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Finely chop the parsley and roughly crumble the feta cheese. Place both on a large plate and mix with a fork until smooth, or blend with a hand blender until smooth. Leave to set in the refrigerator. Crack the walnuts. Halve the ham slices, quarter the apple, and remove the core. Cut one or two quarters into thin wedges. Toast the bread under the broiler until crisp and golden. For smaller amounts, simply toast in a toaster. Rub the bread slices with a clove of garlic and spread thickly with the feta cream. Top with half a slice of ham (rolled or folded depending on the size), an apple wedge, and a walnut half. Serve immediately to prevent the bread from becoming soggy and the apple from turning brown.
