Brussels Sprouts Casserole with Minced Meat
The perfect brussels sprouts casserole with minced meat recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 kilogram Frozen Brussels sprouts
- 500 g Mixed minced meat
- 200 g Grated mozzarella
- 1 Onion
- 200 g Sour cream 20% fat
- 1 Egg
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 1 bag Herbal mixture
- Salt from the mill
- Pepper from the grinder
- Nutmeg
- Cut the potato into cubes and cook in a saucepan with salted water until al dente. Cook the Brussels sprouts in a saucepan with salted water until they are al dente. Pour the potatoes and Brussels sprouts into sieves and drain well.
- Put the minced meat in a pan with hot oil, fry it and season with salt and pepper. Cut the onion and garlic into small cubes, add to the minced meat and fry with them. In a mixing bowl, mix the sour cream, egg, nutmeg and herb mixture well and season with salt and pepper.
- Prepare a baking dish and spread half of the potato cubes on the base. Now spread half of the Brussels sprouts on top. Now distribute the minced meat on top. Now put another layer of potato and, as the last layer, the Brussels sprouts on top.
- Pour the sour cream and herbs mixture over it and sprinkle everything with the mozzarella. Place the casserole dish in the oven preheated to 190 degrees upper and lower heat and bake for approx. 25 – 30 minutes.
