delicious dish with kidney beans

First, boil the noodles according to the package instructions and drain in a colander. Meanwhile, drain and rinse the beans. Peel and dice the garlic, and slice the peeled, half an onion into strips. Heat a tablespoon of oil in a large pan and fry the diced garlic and strips over low heat. When the onions are soft after a few minutes (the garlic should not brown), add the beans and season with a little salt, a pinch of pepper, the garlic powder, and the paprika. Briefly fry everything together, add the remaining oil and the soy sauce, and simmer over low heat for about 5 minutes, until the beans are tender. Then add the boiled noodles, mix well, and fry briefly over medium heat. Season with soy sauce at the table if desired. Serve with a sour tomato salad or a spicy cucumber salad. We have this dish regularly for Friday lunch, and I look forward to it every time. I’m quite sure Bud Spencer would be thrilled, too, hence the name.
