Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g beef or lamb (from the leg)
- 3 tsp sugar
- 4 cloves garlic
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 10 g sesame seeds, roasted
- 5 tbsp oil (sesame oil)
- 250 g leek
- 250 g mushrooms
- salt and pepper
- Oil for frying

Fire meat, Korean national dish
Cut the meat into thick strips approximately 3 cm wide and 7 cm long and sprinkle with sugar. Let rest for approximately 30 minutes. Meanwhile, peel and press the garlic, and mix it with soy sauce, sesame seeds, and sesame oil to make a marinade. Spread this marinade over the meat. Clean and slice the leeks and mushrooms. Fry the meat and vegetables in batches for approximately 3-5 minutes each and season with salt and pepper. Serve with rice and a vegetable side dish of your choice.
