Bulgarian Tarator

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 cucumber(s), approx. 300 g, peeled and finely sliced
  • 500 g yogurt
  • 7 garlic cloves, finely chopped or crushed
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 10 walnuts, chopped or grated
  • 1 bunch dill, finely chopped
  • Salt
  • 2 cups water

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Blend the yogurt thoroughly with a blender. Add the garlic cloves, walnuts, cucumber, and olive oil. Season with salt. Mix everything well and thin with 2 cups of water. Sprinkle the tarator with finely chopped dill and serve well chilled.
