Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 2 cucumbers
- 1 kg yogurt, Bulgarian, otherwise set
- 100 g walnuts, ground
- 1 bunch dill, chopped
- 4 garlic cloves
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- Salt

Snow White Salad, Bulgarian appetizer
Drain the yogurt in a fine sieve or in a fine cloth over a suitable bowl for 4-5 hours. Peel the cucumbers, remove the seeds, and grate them. Place the grated cucumber in a large salad bowl. Peel the garlic cloves, crush them with salt, and add the olive oil while stirring. Add the finely chopped dill. Add this mixture to the salad bowl. Add the drained yogurt to the salad bowl and mix well. Add salt to taste. Sprinkle with dill and the grated walnuts and serve. Alternatively, arrange in portions and serve sprinkled with the walnuts.
