Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 500g Gouda
- 2 eggs
- 125 g corn flour
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- frying fat
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 4 minutes; Total time approx. 24 minutes
Cheese balls from Colombia, makes about 48 pieces
Grate the Gouda cheese as finely as possible into a bowl. Add the eggs, cornflour, and cornstarch and mix. Knead with your hands until soft. Form the mixture into small balls, moistening your hands if necessary. Heat a deep fryer or a saucepan with the frying oil. Add the balls and fry for about four minutes. Remove from the oil and let drain briefly. Makes about 48 balls.
