Burger Patties

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g minced beef
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 shallots
  • 2 tsp oregano
  • 2 pinches of salt
  • 2 pinches of pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

with oregano

Finely dice the shallots and sauté until translucent. Then let them cool. Combine the shallots with the remaining ingredients in a bowl and mix well. You can now form the patties from the minced meat mixture. Make sure the patties are flat (about 5mm thick) and slightly larger in diameter than the burger bun, as they will shrink when cooked. Cook at a high heat. You only need to turn the patties once. Tip: Cut open the burger buns and briefly fry them in a little oil until golden brown on the inside. If you don’t want to miss out on slightly melted cheese, you can add a slice of cheese to each patty while they’re still in the pan. However, you should cook one side first, as otherwise it will be difficult to turn them over.
