Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 rolls (wholemeal toasties)
  • 400 g minced turkey
  • 3 tbsp low-fat curd cheese
  • 1 onion(s)
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • curry powder
  • Paprika powder
  • herbs, mixed, frozen
  • 4 slice(s) cheese, 17%
  • 1 tomato(s)
  • 8 slice(s) cucumber(s)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • Tomato paste

To make the patties, combine the ground turkey with low-fat quark, chopped onion, herbs, and spices. Fry 4 flat patties in a pan. Toast the toasties until crispy (you can also use wheat toasties, but they won’t be as nutritious, of course), spread both sides with tomato paste, and place 1/2 a slice of cheese on the bottom. Place the hot patties on top, place the second half of the cheese slice on top, and top with tomato slices, cucumber slices, lettuce, and onions. Fold and serve. Serve with a crisp salad.
