Burgundy Plums
The perfect burgundy plums recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1,5 kg Fresh plums
- 750 gr Sugar
- 0,25 Lt Red wine vinegar
- 1 Pc. Cinnamon stick
- 0,5 Lt Burgundy red wine
- makes about 6 glasses
- Pierce the plums well with a fork
- Let it steep in the mixed vinegar, red wine, cinnamon stick and sugar for about 2 hours.
- Take out the plums and reduce the remaining ingredients like a syrup
- Add the plums in the last 5 minutes and let them cook
- Then fill everything into hot glasses and place them on the lid for about 5 minutes – then let them cool completely and put them in the supply
- the longer you let it go, the better you get
- Go wonderfully with cinnamon ice cream, cinnamon parfait or vanilla ice cream
