Plum Sorbet

The perfect plum sorbet recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 gr Fresh plums
  • 1,5 dl Red wine
  • 150 gr Preserving sugar 2: 1
  • 1 el Freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 piece Vanilla pod
  • 1 piece Cinnamon stick
  1. Wash the plums, cut in half, core and cut into pieces
  2. Put the wine, preserving sugar, vanilla pod and cinnamon stick in a pan, bring everything to the boil, add the plums and cook for another 5 minutes until soft
  3. Remove the vanilla pod and cinnamon stick and puree everything well. Pour into a bowl and let cool down
  4. Then into the ice cream machine
  5. can also be served as a desert with red wine plums or plum compote
