Plum Sorbet
The perfect plum sorbet recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 500 gr Fresh plums
- 1,5 dl Red wine
- 150 gr Preserving sugar 2: 1
- 1 el Freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 piece Vanilla pod
- 1 piece Cinnamon stick
- Wash the plums, cut in half, core and cut into pieces
- Put the wine, preserving sugar, vanilla pod and cinnamon stick in a pan, bring everything to the boil, add the plums and cook for another 5 minutes until soft
- Remove the vanilla pod and cinnamon stick and puree everything well. Pour into a bowl and let cool down
- Then into the ice cream machine
- can also be served as a desert with red wine plums or plum compote
