Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 egg yolks, boiled
  • 150 g butter
  • 75 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 250 g flour
  • Flour for the work surface

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 minute; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 46 minutes

with boiled egg yolk

Finely mash the egg yolks with a fork. Mix together the butter, sugar, and egg yolks. Gradually add the flour. If the dough is a bit crumbly, add a little water. I simply use a fork to mix the ingredients and then briefly knead the dough with my hands. Place the dough ball in the refrigerator for about 1 hour. Then roll it out on a lightly floured surface and cut out shapes as desired. Bake the cookies in a preheated oven at 160°C (top/bottom heat) for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Decorate as desired.
