Buttermilk apple pie from the tray

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 eggs
  • 200 g brown sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 300 ml buttermilk
  • 350 g flour (wholemeal flour), spelt or wheat
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 4 apples
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

for whole wheat flour or spelt flour

Beat the eggs until frothy, then add the sugar and vanilla sugar. Continue stirring and add the buttermilk. Combine the flour and baking powder and gently stir in until a smooth batter forms. Grease a deep baking tray (use baking paper if necessary) and spread the batter onto it. Peel the apples, remove the cores, and cut into thin slices. Spread them over the batter. Mix the cinnamon and sugar and sprinkle over the top. Baking time: 50 min. fan oven at 160°C, 50 min. electric oven at 180°C, 50 min. gas mark 3. Preheat fan oven, not electric oven, to 180°C.
