Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 eggs
  • 200 g sugar
  • 300 ml buttermilk
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 400 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 150 g almond flakes
  • 50 g cinnamon

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Beat the eggs and sugar until frothy. Then stir in the remaining batter ingredients. Spread the mixture onto a baking sheet (lined with parchment paper). Distribute the almonds over the batter and sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°-200°C for approximately 20-30 minutes. The cake will be relatively shallow and not particularly fluffy, but it will still taste good. Of course, you can substitute the almonds and cinnamon with desiccated coconut, crumbles, brittle, etc.
