Cabbage parcels

Ingredients for 10 servings:

  • 1 kg minced meat
  • 1 head of white cabbage
  • 2 onions
  • 2 cubes of beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 packs of strudel sheets
  • pepper
  • chili
  • marjoram
  • Garlic
  • Caraway seeds
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Quickly prepared, delicious even cold

Finely chop the onion and cabbage and sauté in oil until translucent. Add the minced meat and simmer for about 10 minutes. Season with the stock cubes and pour in a little water. Simmer for another 20 minutes. Finally, season to taste. Cut the strudel dough sheets (always place two on top of each other) into quarters. Place a tablespoon of filling and a teaspoon of cream in the center of each sheet. Then fold them together like small parcels and fry on both sides in hot oil until golden brown. I usually have some filling left over, which I then mix with pasta and salad the next day. Cucumber salad goes very well with this. You can also enjoy the parcels cold as finger food.
