Caipirinha ice shake

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 3 lime(s), untreated
  • 100 g sugar
  • 200 ml mineral water, cold
  • 1 tbsp vodka or sugar cane schnapps
  • 4 scoops of ice cream (lemon ice cream)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Halve the limes and cut into 4 thin slices. Peel the zest thinly and squeeze the limes. Bring the juice and sugar to a boil briefly, then simmer until the sugar has completely dissolved. Then let it cool. Thoroughly mix the lime syrup with the cold mineral water, vodka, and lemon ice. Decorate 4 glasses with the lime slices and zest and pour the shake into the glasses.
