Cake base for fruit cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 75 g margarine
  • 75 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 150 g flour
  • 1 tsp, leveled baking powder
  • 2 tbsp milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

All ingredients should be at room temperature. Beat the margarine with sugar, vanilla sugar, eggs, and salt until fluffy. Mix the baking powder with the flour and stir in alternately with the milk. Pour the batter into a springform pan and bake at 180°C (350°F) for 20 to 25 minutes on the middle rack using top and bottom heat. Once cooled, top with seasonal fruit as desired and cover with glaze.
