Ingredients

For painting

  • 200 g Marzipan paste
  • 1 Egg Whites
  • 40 g Powdered sugar
  • 1 Knife point Cinnamon powder
  • Chopped almonds
  • 1 Glass Plums - drained
  • 1 Egg yolk
  • 1 tbsp Milk

Instructions

  • Crumble the marzipan in a bowl. Mix the cinnamon and egg white with the icing sugar until smooth.
  • Roll up puff pastry sheets, brush with the marzipan mixture and sprinkle chopped almonds (sprinkle on top in the desired amount ... one person likes more of them - the older generation probably less because of the "THIRD" ones). With the pizza roller, roll off 6 quatrates and then divide them lengthways again so that 12 strips are created. Now place 2-3 pieces of plum on each of the strips and roll them up tightly. Then cut in the middle with a knife and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  • Whisk the egg yolk and milk together and brush the puff pastry rolls with them. Sprinkle with chopped almonds again - as I said, as you like ... and put the whole thing in the preheated oven at 200 ° C top / bottom heat or 180 ° C convection for about 15 minutes.
