Cake Pops Amaranth-Orange

The perfect cake pops amaranth-orange recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 0,5 Cup Spelled flour type 630
  • 0,5 Cup Popping amaranth
  • 0,5 Cup Sugar or 1/4 cup stevia sugar from Nordzucker
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 1 piece Egg
  • 0,25 Cup Soda
  • 0,25 Cup Oil
  • 0,5 packet Baking powder
  • 4 drops Orange aroma
  • 200 g White covature
  • Blue food coloring
  • White sugar pearls
  1. I always take a small coffee cup. You think there is not enough mass, but it is exactly enough for 12 cake pops, i.e. one baking cycle. Sugar. Beat the vanilla sugar and oil until frothy, then crack open the egg and stir in. Stir in the orange flavor. Please do everything with a whisk. Cake pop doughs are best made without a mixer or food processor. Otherwise you will touch them to death and they will become hard and dry. Then mix the flour and the popping amaranth with the baking powder in a separate bowl and stir briefly with a spoon, briefly stir into the sugar egg mixture and then add the measured sparkling water and fold in. Turn on the pop cake maker and let it heat up completely, then use a serving spoon or ice cream spoon to fill the hollows of the maker. Fill the lower hollows just below the brim and close the device for 6-7 minutes. Be careful not to open them in between, then they will collapse because of the baking powder. Carefully open the maker and use the included fork to carefully lift the balls out of the hollows on a plate to cool. When they are cold, melt the white covature in a water bath, color it blue and dip the lollipop sticks in them a little and stick them halfway into the balls. Put them on the plate and then, when everything has been done the same, put them in the fridge for 10 minutes. Melt the covature again and take the lollipops out of the refrigerator and immerse them individually in the covature, let them drain and prick a cake pop holder or a styrofoam plate. Sprinkle with colored sugar sprinkles. When they’re all done, put them in the fridge for 20 minutes. Take out and arrange in glasses and enjoy with a cup of coffee or tea.
