Cake: Walnut Cremefraiche Waffles

The perfect cake: walnut cremefraiche waffles recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 250 g Spelled flour
  • 150 g Creme fraiche Cheese
  • 150 g Yogurt
  • 80 g Walnuts
  • 3 Separate eggs
  • 4 El Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 250 ml Milk
  • 0,5 Pck Baking powder
  1. Mix the creme fraiche with the yoghurt. Add the egg yolks. Mix flour with baking powder.
  2. Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt. Grind the walnuts in a blender.
  3. Now mix all ingredients together except for the beaten egg white. Let rest for 20 minutes then fold in the beaten egg white and bake in a buttered waffle iron, the dough makes about 12 waffles.
