Calvados Apple Wedges in Cream Caramel

Ingredients
 

  • 3 Apples, sour
  • 5 tbsp Sugar
  • 8 tbsp Increase the amount of calvados to taste
  • 0,5 Lemon, juice from it
  • 100 ml Liquid cream - adjust the amount
  • 0,5 Vanilla pod scraped out

Instructions
 

  • Peel and core the apples and cut into wedges.
  • Caramelize sugar in a pan, deglaze with calvados and lemon juice and stir well. Put in the apple wedges and sauté.
  • Crack the vanilla pulp out of the pod and steam the pulp and pod with it.
  • Stir in the cream. Simmer gently until the apple wedges are cooked firm to the bite.
  • Serve with whipped cream with the apple pie. The apple cake recipe is yet to come ............
