Calvados Apple Wedges in Cream Caramel
The perfect calvados apple wedges in cream caramel recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 3 Apples, sour
- 5 tbsp Sugar
- 8 tbsp Increase the amount of calvados to taste
- 0,5 Lemon, juice from it
- 100 ml Liquid cream – adjust the amount
- 0,5 Vanilla pod scraped out
- Peel and core the apples and cut into wedges.
- Caramelize sugar in a pan, deglaze with calvados and lemon juice and stir well. Put in the apple wedges and sauté.
- Crack the vanilla pulp out of the pod and steam the pulp and pod with it.
- Stir in the cream. Simmer gently until the apple wedges are cooked firm to the bite.
