Vanilla Cream with Caramelized Apple Wedges

- 4 Sour apples
- 6 tbsp Sugar
- 300 gr Cream
- 100 gr Quark
- Pulp from a peeled vanilla pod
- Peel and core apples and cut into wedges. Caramelize in a coated pan with 2 tablespoons of sugar.
- Mix the cream with the remaining sugar and the vanilla pulp. You shouldn’t whip the cream until stiff, just stir it until it’s nice and creamy. Fold in the quark.
- Divide the caramelized apple wedges into four dessert bowls and fill each with 2 tablespoons of cream. If you want, you can top it with some cinnamon or chopped almonds.
