Camembert wedges wrapped in ham

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 Camembert(s), round, 200 g
  • 12 slice(s) bacon or raw ham
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Herbs, Italian
  • possibly pepper, black
  • possibly chili

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Cut the Camembert in half lengthwise to create two equal slices. Drizzle the cut surfaces with olive oil and sprinkle with the herb mixture. Add freshly ground black pepper or chili, if desired. Let stand for 30 minutes. Cut each Camembert slice into 6 corners. Wrap each corner in a slice of ham and place it folded side down on a baking sheet. Bake the corners at 200°C for about 20 minutes. Serve with a mixed leaf salad and fresh bread.
