Campari – Pears

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 pears, halved, pickled from the can
  • 150 g butter
  • 300 g sugar
  • 4 tbsp Campari
  • 250 cl whipped cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

In a nonstick pan, melt the sugar in the butter and caramelize. When it thickens and bubbles, add the Campari and cream (do not boil!). The sauce should be light brown and thick. Finally, add the pears and heat until hot. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
