Canarian fish stew

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg fish fillet(s) (red sea bream), fresh or frozen
  • 2 onions
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 1 bell pepper(s)
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • Parsley
  • Caraway seeds
  • Thyme
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 jar white wine
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Salt
  • 2 tbsp water

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Prepare a broth from the diced onions, tomatoes, bell peppers, white wine, oil, water, crushed garlic, a little salt, parsley, and caraway. Finally, add a bay leaf and thyme. Cook the fish, cut into small pieces, in this broth. Serve with white bread or wrinkled potatoes (in my recipes). Variation: Use only 500g of red sea bream and an additional 500g of mixed seafood.
