Cantuccini Tiramisu – That’s How it Works

The Cantuccini Tiramisu is the perfect dessert for those looking for a delicious no-bake dessert. It doesn’t take much work and with our recipe, it will definitely succeed.

Cantuccini Tiramisu – Recipe for the dessert

Our quantities are enough for a dessert for four people, i.e. a smaller dish. If you would like to make more of the delicious tiramisu, please increase the quantities accordingly.

  • In addition to 150 g Cantuccini, you also need 200 ml of strong coffee or, even better, espresso. The coffee should be lukewarm, then the cantuccini will absorb the liquid better.
  • You will also need 250 g mascarpone and low-fat quark as well as 40 g sugar and 4 tablespoons amaretto or coffee liqueur. In the tiramisu there is some zest of a lemon and the dessert is covered with 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder.
  • First, line the mold with Cantuccini and mix the coffee with the liqueur. Spread the liquid over the cantuccini. While you are preparing the mascarpone mass, the pastry can become soaked.
  • For the cream, mix the mascarpone, quark, sugar, and lemon zest into an even mass and spread over the cantuccini.
  • Spread the cream evenly and put the dessert in the fridge for three hours. Before serving, sprinkle the tiramisu thickly with cocoa powder.
  • Tip: A layer of fruit between the cantuccini and the cream looks great. For example, you can use drained cherries from a jar or peaches from a can.
