Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 cup of coffee, boiled (espresso), hot
  • 3 tsp sugar
  • 5 tsp Spanish brandy (e.g. Osbonr, Carlos etc.)
  • 3 coffee beans
  • 1 piece(s) lemon(s) – peel

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Spanish coffee

Put 3 teaspoons of sugar into a small cup or glass. Add 5 teaspoons of brandy. Mix the sugar with the brandy and flambé with a lighter. Let it burn for about 30 seconds, then extinguish and top up with espresso. Serve with coffee beans and a small piece of lemon zest. Caution—it’s addictive.
