Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 100 g popcorn
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 handful of salted pretzels (mini pretzels)
- 125 g butter
- 150 g sugar
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes
First, add the oil and salt to a wide saucepan, stir, and heat until the oil curls. Stir in the popcorn and cover. Once the popcorn is popped, spread it out on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle the pretzels evenly over the popcorn. Then, in a small saucepan, melt the butter, sugar, and honey. Continue stirring until the mixture becomes foamy and browned to your desired degree. Immediately pour the caramel in a thin stream over the popcorn and pretzel mixture. Caution: It’s hot! Finally, let it cool, break it up, and fill it into boxes, or enjoy immediately.
