Ingredients for 8 servings:
- 1 liter whole milk
- 250 g chocolate
- 2 tbsp, heaped cocoa powder
- 50 g potato starch
- 50 g sugar
- 4 tbsp rum

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Melt the chocolate in 3/4 of the milk and bring to a boil. Whisk the sugar, cornstarch, and cocoa powder with the remaining milk until smooth, stir into the boiling milk, and let it simmer for about a minute. Then add the rum and whisk until smooth. The rum can be omitted. It can be replaced with espresso, for example. For an even creamier texture, replace 1/4 of the milk with cream.
