Ingredients for 5 servings:
- 150 g sugar
- 25 g water
- 75 ml cream
- 750 g low-fat curd cheese

Quark with caramel flavor
Place the sugar and water in a large saucepan. Boil over high heat until the water has evaporated and the sugar begins to take on some color. Remove the pan from the heat and add the cream (careful: steam!). Return the pan to the heat and stir until the caramel is golden brown. Make sure there are no large lumps. Remove the pan from the heat and let the caramel cool, stirring occasionally. Add the quark, mix well, and refrigerate for about 2 hours. Tip: Replace the low-fat quark with cream quark.
