Cardamom Matcha Latte

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 cardamom pods
  • 200 ml soy milk (soy drink) or almond milk
  • 1 tsp agave syrup
  • ½ tsp matcha powder (green tea powder)
  • 50 ml water, warm

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 2 minutes; Total time approx. 12 minutes

Briefly press the two cardamom pods with the blade of a wide knife. Combine the milk, agave syrup, and cardamom pods in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Meanwhile, place the green tea powder in a bowl and mix well with 80°C warm water. Strain the hot milk through a sieve, froth it briefly with a milk frother, and pour into a cup or glass. Add the matcha-water mixture to the milk and stir well.
