Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g carrot(s)
  • 250 g apples, sour
  • 25 g ginger
  • 1 orange(s) (organic)
  • 1 lime(s)
  • 400 g extra gelling sugar (2:1)

Easter is coming! ACE jam with ginger

Peel and finely grate the carrots, apples, and ginger. Zest the orange zest and squeeze the juice. Squeeze the lime as well. Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan and add the preserving sugar. Bring to a boil while stirring and simmer for 5 minutes. Test for settling. Immediately pour the finished jam into hot, rinsed jars, secure with twist-off lids, and turn upside down for 3 minutes. This quantity is sufficient for 4-5 jars of 210 ml each.
