Carrot-banana drink (shake)

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 3 carrots
  • 2 bananas
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp oil
  • n. B. Milk, approx. 200 – 400 ml

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Peel and wash the carrots, then cut into small pieces. Place the small carrot pieces, honey, oil, and a dash of milk in the measuring jug and puree with an immersion blender. Peel and add the bananas, puree again, and gradually add the milk. Puree until it reaches a thick consistency. I had tiny pieces of carrot in the shake; if that bothers you, puree or blend it until there are no pieces left. It doesn’t matter what fat content the milk has; it tastes good with 1.5% or 3.5%. I used 3.5% milk because it tastes creamier. If you prefer, you can also use soy milk, oat milk, or almond milk.
