Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 54 g oat flakes
  • 110 ml vegetable stock
  • 140 g carrot(s)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 17 g wheat flour (wholemeal flour)
  • 1 egg yolk
  • herbal salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Food combining, carbohydrates

Bring the broth and oat flakes to a boil briefly, then remove from the heat and let the flakes simmer and swell for about 10 minutes. Finely grate the carrots and finely dice the onion. Mix with the oats, flour, and egg yolk and season with herb salt. Form the batter into fritters. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the carrot fritters until golden brown. They taste delicious both hot and cold.
