The first complementary food from the 4th month

Brush, wash, and chop the carrots thoroughly. Steam or sauté them in a little water. Then add oil and puree with a hand blender or in a blender. Puree is the transition to solid food. Breast milk or formula remains the main source of nutrition during the first year. The first complementary foods include easily digestible vegetables such as sweet-flavored carrots, parsnips, and salsify. Pumpkin, cauliflower, and broccoli are also suitable.
