Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 kg carrot(s)
- 500 g potatoes
- 1 vegetable onion(s)
- 6 sausages (Mettenden)
- Vegetable broth, instant
- salt and pepper
- butter
- Parsley

Clean the carrots, trim the ends, and slice them. Peel the potatoes and dice them. Peel the onion and slice it too. Sauté the onion, carrots, and potatoes in a little butter for five minutes. Add water and season with stock to taste. Boil for another ten minutes. Place the Mettenden sausages, either sliced or whole, on top and cook for about 15 minutes until tender. Add a little parsley. Finally, season with salt and pepper, and perhaps more vegetable stock to taste. Sliced Bockwurst sausages also work instead of Mettenden sausages.
